Thrift Store Piano Bench Makeover
Time sure does fly! I can't believe it is already Thrift Store Makeover time again.
The team is back, and we have 5 great before and afters for you.
Sometimes the makeovers are obvious and sometimes you are like…wow! It's our goal to give you ideas that you can incorporate into your home.
This piano bench is in really good shape. Not wobbly or damaged. The cushion fabric had seen better days.
All I had to do to prep was clean it well and remove the cushion from the bench.
I used 2 coats of Amy Howard One Step paint in Selznick Grey. I let that cure overnight.
Then I lightly sanded in areas to gently distress. Finish with a coat of clear wax and buffing. The silk fabric is beautiful and was perfect with the toile euro shams. It was left over from cording on our dining room window treatments.
Here it is at the foot of the bed in the flip house I decorated. It was a complete gut job. It was fun picking out essentially everything from exterior colors to granite counters. I'll be sharing a complete post on it soon.
Let's see what the rest of the Thrift Store Decor Team has for you today! Be sure to visit them!
