I always feel a bit in limbo after the holidays with our master bedroom. It usually stays the same with the exception of the holiday decor removed. I usually just leave it until spring or summer. By this time, I am itching for a spring master bedroom refresh with French Farmhouse style!
It's hard to believe, but Memorial weekend will mark 16 years that we moved into the home we lovingly had built. As a result, I've been performing the daunting task of repainting our home. So far I've only had to hire out one aspect of it, the family room and staircases. Everything else, I've been doing. It's a lot of work, but makes me smile when I stand back to see the results.  During this time of picking out light and neutral colors, I've really been reflecting upon our home's style and look going forward. 
I'm often asked what my favorite style is. Honestly, it's quite the mouthful.
