Fine Art Minis $35!!!
Did you know that I studied art in College" High-school too, but eventually into College earning a Fine Arts degree ... one that I've used mostly at my leisure after finding a full-time, well salaried job that would help me pay back student loans (groan). I enjoyed making Cross Bottles, styling and designing rooms and floral arrangements, and on occasion painting pieces for friends and loved ones, a few times myself as a creative outlet from the not at all creative day-to-day of my working life.
Art is so personal, and I was so scared to put mine out into the world because I've seen the way that negative feedback ruins the creative spark. I figured, I'd keep that part of my artistry to myself, making things that I loved for me - and study the shapes of faces that hear for the first time that I indeed painted the painting they were looking at.
My friend Joan, fortheloveofahouse, urged me to start painting again and get them out for the world to see. And finally, after nearly a year, I took her advice. I started painting. I thought I'd keep them for myself, but when a friend offered to buy a few that were drying, and Tyler asked if I was going to sell all of them, I thought - what could it hurt to just see if there was a market for them"
