When it comes to redecorating and renovating your home most people opt straight for the paintbrush, or head to the store in search of furniture that will bring the room back to life. Whilst both of these are important, have you ever considered how much of a difference your floor can actually make" The very foundation/base of your home is the floor and yet it is so often overlooked. As mentioned earlier, the floor is the foundation of your home and when it comes to pairing with your interiors and furnishings it can really set the tone for how you may choose to build upon it. Of course we are not insinuating that your flooring must match the decor of your home but it can help towards a theme, for example if you are looking to stick with neutral colors such as beige and magnolia then these can be paired with deep wooden floorboards, but if you are looking at a grey color scheme then perhaps you could head towards a more pale/whitewashed floor.
