Late August and even September are tough here in the south! Fall decor is all around us, but it can still feel like sweltering summer.

I long to wear sweaters and drink pumpkin spice lattes, but we are typically still in flip flops in October.

I say do what makes you happy! Decorate now if you'd like or wait! Regardless, I hope you leave today's hop with fabulous ideas to inspire your fall season.

I am starting to pull out fall decor from the attic and leisurely decorating here and there.
One area that I like to give a late summer refresh to is our front door area. By this time, I've grown tired of the pink flowers on our wreath.

I'm not ready to go full-on pumpkins to the porch, but I can update my wreath a bit to give a little nod to early fall.
