The Old War Office ? or more affectionately called, the OWO ? has come to market in London. For more than a decade, it was closed to the public but a pivotal moment in history has created investors to partake in the purchase of The OWO Residences by Raffles. As Europe’s first Raffles branded residences, there will be 85 homes made available for sale in the impressive Grade II listed former Old War Office building.

Some five years of painstaking transformation and restoration have gone into this London landmark, set to complete in 2022. These homes will also comprise the capital’s first Raffles hotel with 125-rooms and suites, plus an array of dining establishments and bars, and an indulgent luxury spa. The Old War Office is steeped in history since its completion in 1906. Designed by British architect William Young, the building has witnessed many life-altering historical moments, and with many monarchs such as Henry VIII and Winston Churchill who stood over political events.
