Richard Hammond is putting some of his impressive rides up for auction at The Classic at Silverstone. Hammond has been at the centre of several high-profile shows, including the highly-successful Top Gear and The Grand Tour.
Because starting a business can be rather expensive, Hammond found himself needing to auction off a selection of his car and motorbike collection. This is to fund a new car restoration business called The Smallest Cog that he is setting up with specialists Neil and Anthony Greenhouse.

Hammond will also turn the business into an all-new original docuseries titled, “Richard Hammond?s Workshop” that is set to air on Discovery+ later this year. The presenter was inspired to launch the Smallest Cog project and series by his grandfather, who was a coachbuilder for Mulliner and Jensen.
