The Pershing 6X will be the newest model in the imposing Generation X range
Pershing has unveiled details of its upcoming 6X, which is expected to have a top speed of 48 knots and a cruising speed of 42 with a pair of 1,550mhp MAN V12 engines, living up to the performance standards embodied by the rest of the Italian builder?s Generation X range.
Joining the 5X, 7X, 8X and 9X, the 6X is the range?s second-smallest model and has an overall length of 18.94m (62 ft) and a beam of 4.8m (16ft). The model is designed by the studio headed by Fulvio De Simoni, Ferretti Group?s Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Group?s Engineering Department.

Like the other Generation X models, Pershing 6X has a sleek, streamlined appearance and features large, glazed surfaces in the hull that ensure plenty of natural light on the lower deck. New features include the styling of the big aft sunpad, the carbon and teak table in the cockpit, the chaise longue with reclining backrest positioned forward, and rectangular portholes that look like windows.
