Amalgam Collection Launches a Mini Model of Lewis Hamilton?s F1 Car
The miniature model is surely less expensive than owning the actual race car. The 1:4 model will set you back US$35,000.

UK-based firm, Amalgam Collection ? famous for its incredibly realistic replica models ? has just released a new series of handmade Formula 1 collectibles. The series is fronted by a quarter-size replica of Lewis Hamilton’s 2020 championship-winning Formula 1 car, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance car.
This limited-edition replica has gotten the details down to a T, it was developed on request from the Mercedes Petronas F1 team. Most of Amalgam Collection’s replicas are scaled own to 1:8 or 1:12 but the W11 was built at the 1:4 scale and measures at 49 inches long, it captures every single technical detail of the real car’s bodywork, down to even the smallest aerodynamic pieces.

The actual car itself took three long years to develop, the W11 was Mercedes-AMG’s attempt to overcome its long struggle with cornering. The car was helmed by Hamilton during the 2020 F1 season and helped him claim 11 first-place finishes.
