Tucked into the south-west side of Trafalgar Square, a new kid on the block via the world of hotels is making heads turn. Fortunately for us, thanks to our always reliable friends at Kiwi Collection, we got the opportunity to explore this fabulous new property by calling it home during the whirlwind of LFW – a block of days that are filled with both events and stress – all of which The Trafalgar St. James made MUCH easier to bare.
Having just undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, The Trafalgar opened this past October thanks in part to their lead architects, SHH Architecture & Designs. The award-winning firm is known for creating modern, elegant and unique spaces and The Trafalgar Hotel resulted in exactly that. A property rich with history (at one point it held the Cunard Steamship Company, where news of the Titanic’s capsizing first broke) was approached with an intelligent hand, seamlessly turning it into a “sanctuary of style” at the center of one of the most prominent squares in the world.
Because of this, the hotel feels both comfortable yet trendsetting, finding itself home to a slurry of spaces.
