Pops of Color Create Curb Appeal
If you've followed my blog for a while, it's no surprise that I adore outdoor living. We picked our house plan for just that. While the back porch is screened, the front is open. A couple of weekends ago, we worked hard to pressure wash and get it ready for prom photos. Unfortunately, I didn't find the time to add pops of color to the front.
You can instantly create curb appeal in the summer months by planting pots with pops of color now.
It's best to get plants started now to really get a jump on growing before the heat of the summer.
Curb appeal need not cost a fortune. I already owned the pots that had been on the back patio. To shake things up a bit, I moved them to the front. Later this week, I'll be sharing how I painted these pots for a fresh look. They are very old and the original finish had seen better days. It's just another way to use what you have and save money. My journey started with a trip to my local Lowes to plan what would go in my pots. I had already decided which pots I would use before I went. That way I had an idea what I needed to look for.
