Our Time In Nashville
Last week R and I spent a few days in Nashville. He had business meetings there and when I found out that Eric Church was playing at the Grand Ole Opry, I decided to tag along. We've been to Nashville before, but didn't have time to really explore. This time around we were able to squeeze in a few fun outings that made it worth our while. I loved the city, the music, and everything about it. So much so that I could live there.
A friend gave us a detailed list of places to shop, eat, listen to music which came in handy since we only had two days to cram in as much as possible.
When we first arrived, we were starving and all we kept thinking about was Nashville Hot Chicken. We hit up Pepperfire for a quick lunch. It was so good, unlike any chicken I've ever had!
We checked into the Omni downtown which was in walking distance to the Gulch as well as a few breweries we wanted to check out. Of course I had to do the tourist thing and get a picture of the beautiful mural by Kelsey Montague. We popped into two different breweries, Jackalope Brewing Company and Tennessee Brew Works and sampled IPAs. We had Whiskey Kitchen for dinner which was full of energy and music with open doors and windows.
