modern farmhouse buffet
It's so crazy that I've had several furniture pieces that I've worked on over the last few months, but haven't posted here!
I found this great buffet a few weeks ago and loved the lines on it and the vintage hardware.
I love painting staple furniture pieces in neutral colors, but this one just seemed to need color. I knew I was going to keep the top wood because even with some pretty good size scratches, it was beautiful.I love the combination of navy and wood.
One of my all time favorite products is Old English scratch remover. It worked like a charm once again! If you want to see a previous post I did on the magic of this product, you can click here.
This was painted in Miss Mustard Seed's Artissimo. It chipped just the way I wanted it to.It still looks elegant, modern, and rustic.
I've been using wax less and less to finish furniture. I've trying out a few products that are liquid, but so far I'm having trouble finding one that works well.
I'll keep you posted on what I find!
I already dropped this off at Aunt Bee's House, so you can find it there if you are local.
This was my first time staging furniture in front of the barn doors in the basement. Hopefully I can figure out the best way to adjust the lighting in here and use it for future photo shoots. It sure was handy!
