Perhaps one of the best surprises last week was finding out about the new Madewell store at Shops on Friendly.  An email popped into my inbox with an invitation to the grand opening and of course I attended.  I'd say the grand opening was a huge success!  So much so that I had to go back the next day to take a few pictures because it was so crowded on opening night.  I've been a fan of Madewell but had only shopped online until now.  The store is fresh and bright and I basically wanted everything, ha!  I did walk out with a cute pair of jeans.  After trying on several different styles, I decided on the Cali-demi boot jean - cropped with a button fly.  I've already been wearing them with booties but I think they will be darling this spring with sandals.  (Hurry up spring!) I also tried on skinny jeans but I already have so many skinny jeans and wanted to try something fun.  These were also a favorite and these fit like a glove.
The vignettes are full of fun pieces that will transition from winter into spring (again, spring where are you").  I picked out several things to add to my wish list.  And by the way, I'm loving the blush pink!

This sweater was my favorite hands down!  It's even prettier in person.
