Inside a bright and cheery nautical-inspired beach home!
This five-bedroom, 2,118-square-foot raised bungalow-style retreat in Bay Head, New Jersey is reconstructed by designer Susana Simonpietri with the help of contractors for a young family whose beach house was critically damaged during the destructive Hurricane Sandy. By incorporating nautical motifs and punchy hues, this beach home feels relaxing and fun. Let's check it out!

Such a bright, cheery and vibrant home! I like how the designer combined white-painted shiplap, bold hues, polished nickel fixtures and nautical patterns against a crisp white background to create a fresh, youthful and contemporary space. Bleached-wood floors, jute rugs, woven baskets, woven headboard and rope accents provide warmth and coziness to the space. The beautiful breakfast nook and all-white kitchen are especially my favorites! Is there anything that catches your eye as well" Thoughts"
