Hooray for Henredon
I don't know who is leading the signature designer partnerships over at Henredon, but they're doing everything right! Last year the furniture manufacturer teamed up with Mark D. Sikes on a new line of furniture that everyone went gaga for, including me.
The collection included sharp, sophisticated furniture that is designed to evoke a relaxed, California lifestyle.
There was plenty of blue, Chinoiserie, and rattan in the unveiled collection last year, a signature of Mark's. The showrooms also included peeks at his new fabric line with Schumacher.
Henredon really knocked it out of the park with the Mark D. Sikes collection. These pieces appeal to buyers young and old, and have no expiration date. When the famous High Point in North Carolina rolled around last year, everyone was beside themselves snapping photos of Mark's display.
It was really everything we've come to expect from Mark, and it felt 110% true to his aesthetic. This year, Mark's moving away from the calming light blue and white upholstery, in favor of capital B, Bold cobalt blue:
I can't wait to see this completely styled and pulled together! As if that wasn't exciting enough, Henredon announced in late February that they were working with one of my all-time favorite designers, Jeffrey Bilhuber.
