Even though this grad gift guide was written a year ago, the items on it are still very much in favor among graduates.  I thought it was worth re-posting just in case any of you need gift ideas. Hope this is helpful!

Graduation season is here and we've been in a flurry of activity for the last week or so.  This year flew by, but then again senior year always does.  I've been picking the brains of teenagers who are graduating from high school to find out what they like other than the obvious, money.  And here's what they have chosen.

1.  yeti tumbler.  The inside is made of stainless steel so it doesn't retain odor when you switch from iced coffee to water; something my son does every day.  They come in lots of colors.
2.  kanken water resistant backpack.  They'll be walking to class rain or shine ( in theory) so a water proof backpack is a must.  Lots of colors available.

3.  bose blue tooth speaker.  Music and dorm rooms go hand in hand.

4.  hanging toiletries bag.  These are a great way to keep everything in one place for that jaunt down the hall to the bathroom.  Different sizes and colors available.

5.  chemex 6-cup coffee maker.  A great gift for coffee lovers!  Just heat the water to a boil and pour into a special paper filter.  It's hands down one of the best cups of coffee you'll ever have.

6.  eno hammock.  An especially great gift for the outdoorsy type...
