FIVE TIPS FOR A CASUAL FRENCH DINNER PARTY
Bonjour from Paris!
If you follow me on Instagram, you know what I am up to!
This seems like an appropriate time to tell you about a casual, French dinner party that we hosted recently in San Francisco. Please ignore my "Franglish" on Howard's menu (he did the cooking).
1. I made the menu for free using Canva...and emailed it to our guests in advance.
2.I also made the Lemon Tart and added lemon zest to the custard and garnished with raspberries.
3. An assortment of small French products were purchased at World Market and wrapped as party favors. You don't need to go all the way to France!
The Eiffel Tower ribbon is from World Market, too.
4. Have you checked out Minted.com's HUGE assortment of cloth napkins in fun, unique, artistic patterns"They gave us the dotted diamond napkins to review. That sparked the whole black and white theme. The napkins are more luncheon sized and take some time to arrive (specially made--so order in advance).
5. These black and white straws are placed in a water glass through a thin lemon slice.
It's our last day in Paris. We are headed home tomorrow. I don't think we have ever had a long, TWO week vacation before. It was awesome!
