In July 2015, the sister tag-team of Anita and Krisztina van der Boom opened DryBy and it has swiftly become the absolute go-to for both signature blowouts and one of the best nail-art manicures London has to offer.
“My sister, Anita and I grew up in Budapest where regular spa visits are part of women?s everyday beauty ritual, as well as social ritual. Having lived in London for many years we decided to bring a piece of our heritage from Hungary to London and open a social, beautiful space bringing quality hair and nail art services under one roof in London.”
And that they did. Located in the heart of Fitzrovia, Dryby lives in a 19th century building on Mortimer street. With original fireplaces, wooden floors and wall treatments, celebrated interior designer, Clemence Pirajean had a fabulous foundation to work with coming in and providing an injection of modernity thanks to marble countertops, gold accents and mid-century modern furnishings creating a calming environment that is warm and inviting yet ultra-chic.
