Choosing The Right Coffee Table For Our Small Living Room
If you are staying up to date on the Living Room Makeover Saga, then you know that since I removed the huge mirror, I have been auditioning replacement pieces for this room.
The coffee table I have been using is a beautiful traditional treasure that I love, however I am in the mood to give the room a more classic transitional feel. This is not a large area so I really wanted something light and airy that didn't take up too much visual space. I think I found the perfect piece.
My previous coffee table was a beautiful mahogany oval drop leaf table. A beautiful table but I am ready for a change. (I have moved it upstairs to the loft and it is perfect there.)
I love the soft champagne gold frame on the new one and the pretty beveled glass. I also love that it has two shelves so I can display some of my favorite books. A great 32" size. I chose a square shape that would fit the space better than the 46" oval of my previous table. I saw something similar on several different sites, however this one was the least expensive. $134.34 from Overstock with a promo discount. Several have asked. The art is on loan from my daughter. She had them hanging in her stairs and loaned them to me so I didn't have such a huge blank wall after I gave the mirror away. They really are beautiful and look stun...
