I've been apart of this team when it started many years ago. I am always amazed at what can be created sometimes out of nothing. Wander your thrift store with an open mind as you look at rows and rows of sometimes things that look like junk. You'd be amazed at what a little paint and creativity can do.
Guess what" Maybe you can just walk around your home, attic, or garage and come across things that you already own that could use a makeover. Before I donate, I always do this!
Even look at close that you donate. Plaid shirts and old sweaters make great parts for ornaments, wreaths, pillows and more. It's all about the recycle and upcycle.
