SOFT AND FUDGY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
These cookies STAY soft and fudgy and they are totally addicting beyond delicious!!! Everyone asks for this recipe!!!
This is NOT a crispy cookie, it is
more like a brownie textureMAKES 3 DOZEN2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter (room temperature)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup regular sugar
2 eggs
1 teasoon vanilla
1 box of VANILLA instant pudding (3.4 oz.)
1 1/2 cups CHOCOLATE chipsIn a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Stir in the chocolate chips and set aside.
With an electric mixer, cream the butter + brown sugar + regular sugar on med-high speed for about a minute. Add the (dry) instant pudding mix and beat until well blended.
Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until well mixed.Add the flour + baking soda + chocolate chips (half cup at a time) beating well in between each addition.Roll the batter into tablespoon size balls and then roll the balls in sugar.
Bake on parchment lined cookie sheet (or an UNgreased cookie sheet) at 350F for 10-12 minutes (don't over-bake).Cool on baking rack.
This is a very versatile cookie recipe. My hubby loves butterscotch, so I make this recipe with butterscotch instant pudding mix and butterscotch chips. He loves them!!!ENJOY !!!
